Avoid pressure on the area for the first 48 hours (sleep on your back if possible, no face down massages).

Use a topical treatment to soothe and calm the skin such as Bepanthen or Arnica cream. Use this three times/day for the next 7 days.

Avoid facials, waxing, chemical peels, skin needling, microdermabrasion, IPL or laser treatments for 2 weeks after treatment. Please discuss your future treatment plans with us if you are uncertain.

Do not massage the treatment area unless instructed to do so.

Injections cause an inflammatory response which means it is not uncommon for the treatment area to be swollen for up to 14 days. The treatment area may appear uneven, feel bumpy and sore - this is very common and you shouldn't panic.

When the swelling subsides the treatment area may looking significantly less plump than immediately after the injection. Please don't be disappointed if you were hoping for a fuller look. It can often taken two or more sessions for the filler to form a base layer and begin to build.

After 14 days, if you still have concerns about the treatment area, please contact us with a photo and we will book in a follow up appointment.
